Amaya Lockett

When I was 7 and my brother was 16, and it was a couple days till Christmas my mom had to clean my brother’s room. She was upset about how much stuff was just throw around. I walked in the room, handed her my report card and she was very proud of me. “Where is Eric’s report card?” She said. I shrugged and kicked a ball under his bed, as she went under to get it, she found his report card and she was furious.
Soon came Christmas day and my mom had all the presents under the tree, even Eric’s. We all opened our presents and mom was so proud of my handy work and my honor, I got my gift that I really wanted. Don’t judge me, it was a Wii.
Then Christmas day came and we opened all our gifts, all exited, pumped and filled with happiness and thanks our mom for everything. Then I gave my mom he gifts from all of us and hugged us all, but my brother gave mom a big present the coffee maker she wanted for weeks, and she loved it, but I knew she was going to feel bad about what she did next.
“Now I have something for you.” Mom said, and she walked to the back. She walked back to the living room with a box, all wrapped up nice and neat, and gave it to my brother. He unwrapped it with excitement; it was a Xbox 360. “I’m about to hook this up!” He opened the box and his smiled, went to pure anger. “What is this?!!” he screamed. “Books, a calculator, pencils, pens, notebook, and your report card. Get you grades up and don’t hide stuff from me!” My mom screamed. He stormed off and my siblings and I laughed for the rest of the week. Once he got his grades up near the new year’s she gave him his Xbox. It was the funniest Christmas ever.
