My vacation to Hawaii by Caroline Cooper

         When my brother and cousin said they wanted to go to Hawaii for their graduation present I was excited.       The plane ride was really long and it was my and my sisters’ first time on a plane “im scared to flight over the ocean” my sister said.  When we landed in Hawaii, I was so glad to get off the plane “finally solid ground” my cousin said.  When we got off the plane the airport was different from all the other airport I have seen. The airport was open with no walls to where you could see and smell the ocean water.  I could hear the planes leaving and the person over the intercom making announcements about flights.  When we got to the hotel it was gorgeous “this hotel is awesome” my dad said.  I could hear the waves crashing on the shore.  The following morning my sister and I went to the balcony and watched the sunrise it was gorgeous.  We walked on the beach and the sand was warm but it started to get hot as we kept walking on the beach “this sand is hotter than a fire cracker” my mom said.  Then we got to go snorkeling with the fish “I saw dory” my sister said, the dolphins, and the sea turtles. For my first time snorkeling to was rough the waves kept coming over the snorkel and the salt water went down the snorkel the salt water tasted awful “that’s some really strong slat water” my brother said.  We went to a traditional luau all the dances they did had a story behind them.  The trip back was fun and we stop in Los Angeles I had never been to Los Angeles before. When we were on the plane leavening Los Angeles you could see the sunset it was beautiful.
