"I give up" by Paul Baron

The concept of never giving up even when the chances are slim is super important in whatever someone is doing. It is an extremely important. Three places that it matters in are sports, school, and life in general. I go by this all of the time and I kind of say that it is my motto to go by.
The motto never give up can apply to tennis. One time I was playing in a tennis tournament. I was losing the set four to one. “I am going to lose,” I told myself. I was about to give up and not try to win because I was down by three games. What I did was I told myself “I can do this all I got to do is do my best and try my hardest.” I did exactly that and I came back and won the set six to four. However in tennis I have to play two sets. So in the second set because I didn’t give up and I came back the kid gave up and I won the match in straight sets.
Believe it or not, never giving up even when the chances are slim can even relate to schoolwork. One time I had straight A’s in all of my classes except for one. My average is 89.34% in all the classes. My teacher also rounds her averages. I needed to get an 89.5% to get an A. There is only one test remaining and it is the end of the nine weeks exam and if I get an A on it in each of your class you will get straight A’s for the year. Most people would just accept the fact they got a B and not try to get an A on it. But what I did was I went home and study so hard my eyeballs and brain exploded because I studied so hard. The next day I took the test and got a 100%. I felt so excited.
The concept of never giving up even when the chances are slim can relate to life in general. Imagine someone trying to get a job. They go to the job interview and they are so nervous. They totally bomb the interview and don’t get the job. They are so sad and really mad at themselves. What should they do? Either go home and cry over it or get back to finding a job and actually have a chance to get another job. The guy tells himself “I think I am going to go back and go find another job.” The next job interview he tries again and gets the job.
As everyone can see the concept of never giving up is very important in a lot of things relating to different kinds of people like kids in school, athletes, and lifestyles in general. I go by this motto all the time. I think it is a very important thing to by. You never know what will happen if you never give up because you don’t know what you are really capable of.
