Star Wars, most people see Star Wars as one of the most famous science fiction franchises in the world. When I was around two or three years old my parents brought me in this Sci-Fi world. The first movie I ever saw was The Phantom Menace. It has everything from epic fights to extreme pod races. I loved a Gungan named Jar Jar Binks. The way he talked just made me laugh till I was out cold. My favorite phrase from him is “Oh masi big the force well that just stickawich.” And when they were in the hanger battle I was in love with the lightsabers. A lightsaber is “an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.” according to Obi Wan Kenobi. Though at the time I was unable to talk, quite literally I would speak gibberish. My mother said that she would give me anything if I would talk, but I somehow memorized each line.
Then
almost a month later I watched the second movie Attack of the Clones. This is
my all-time favorite movie ever. It has everything epic fights, thousands of
warriors. It also had a fight between a bounty hunter and a Jedi and the bounty
hunter won. To me this gave a sense of you can’t win very battle.
When I started elementary school, I was a little off
compared to others and they did not like any of the things I did, so I really
did not have any one to talk to. Then in second grade there was a kid nobody
liked. He was just a jerk every day, but just a jerk about everything not a
bully. I would sit with a friend and he would to just to say how stupid I was
to like star wars. “Hey nerd.” “Hey” “still like stupid wars.” “No I like Star
wars.” “well it’s as stupid as you.” This drew the line, so I swung but missed
and I didn’t get in trouble.
Now I just think who
cares if he did not like it if I do then I shouldn’t care if he thinks it is stupid.
Now I just shrug off most remarks, I still have a little temper, but it is a
working process. I usually count to ten and when I’m done they usually stop and
I get on with my life.
